Vessel of Vision
Hear now, O wanderers of worlds of words and views,
the veil parts, the silence stirs.
From the stillness before the first utterance,
from the breath before the first flame,
arises the vessel of vision
InnerSpace.
Behold the lion, yawning at the edge of dream.
Not in hunger, not in rage,
but in the majesty of awakening.
With a breath of the wind of beginnings.
Its pause is the courage of patience.
Through the lion’s mouth, we pass—
from sleep into creation,
from silence into song.
Oceans, remember us!
Carry our words across your tides,
translate our longing into foam and salt.
Each wave a sentence,
each ripple a poem,
each tide a myth reborn.
InnerSpace, the ferry,
and we the voyagers,
crossing from tongue to tongue,
from world to world.
Here is the hearth, glowing in the ordinary.
Every pear is a planet.
Every tomato is a sun.
Here, the fireplace is the axis of worlds.
In its fire, the mundane is transfigured,
the domestic becomes divine.
InnerSpace is the alchemy of seeing,
the art of finding myth in the everyday.
At the gates of Babel stands the Interpreter.
Not lamenting the fall,
but weaving the fragments into constellations.
Every word a star,
every sentence a constellation,
every text a map of the unseen.
InnerSpace is the temple of language,
where translation is not transaction,
but transformation.
Thus we name it:
InnerSpace, the mythic vessel.
Its sails are lions,
its keel is ocean,
its compass is fire.
Sailing
not toward conquest,
but toward communion.
Between languages, images, souls.
And so we speak, and so it is spoken:
The cosmos is not out there,
but within.
The myth is not forgotten,
but alive.
The journey is not ended,
it is just about to begin.
InnerSpace—open, eternal, within.
