Fingerprint
This is my Albanian fingerprint
The very one on the finger that always pulls the trigger
The only part of my identity that matters
The Blood
Victory
No death

The red lines of this image were black when I drew them, in Macromedia Flash in 1997; and the black lines were a white background. The lines were converted into filled shapes and colored red, and the background was converted into a complementing black vector drawing. The red and black parts of the image were later exported to be edited like raster in Photoshop, just for a barely visible final touch, a subtle smudging and blurring, which I am still proud of. This image was about determining just the perfect values for these minimal shades and blurs.
But else, this image is a metaphor for my Albanian identity; the most painful aspects of the symbolism of blood, and a line of a never ending poem.
