Daemonculus — Functional Paramental Fragment

A daemonculus is an activated semenculus that has entered self reflection and stabilized into a minimal cognitive function. It is not a mind, but a mind fragment—a micro module capable of performing a specific task such as pattern recognition, calculation, symbolic manipulation, or rudimentary learning.

In neuroscience and AI terms, a daemonculus corresponds to a functional microcircuit: the smallest cluster of units required for a behavior to emerge.
It represents the second stage of paramental development, where potential becomes function.
