An Architect of Authenticity
Welcome. I am Sam Diellor Luani—a poet, digital artist, and speculative fiction writer driven by the belief that form is the ultimate source of substance.
My work is deeply rooted in the philosophical tradition of postmodernism, utilizing techniques like fragmentation, pastiche, and intertextuality not as ends, but as tools to construct a new foundation for creative authenticity. I am an artist committed to the preservation and restoration of old values, finding new life for enduring human truths within the chaos and complexity of the modern age.
Visual Art | Inner Space and the Human Trace
My current commercial debut, the “InnerSpace” digital art collection, is a direct response to the current technological landscape. In an era saturated with generative AI, this collection stands as a testament to human authenticity.
Each piece is deliberately crafted to retain the visible motoric traces of its creation—the brushstrokes, the digital fingerprints, the intentional imperfections—that only a human artist can leave behind. “InnerSpace” is not just art; it is a declaration of the indelible value of human intent and labor against the backdrop of algorithmic generation.
Literature | Reimagining Narratives
As a writer, I focus on speculative fiction, exploring complex generational narratives that bridge the old world and the new. My Swedish novels, including “Gamla Huset” (The Old House), “Gamla Landet” (The Old Land), and “Nya Landet” (The New Land), are currently being translated and meticulously rewritten for an English-speaking audience. This process is a renewal, ensuring the core stories of identity, migration, and place resonate with global readers.
Professional Foundation
My artistic pursuits are supported by over three decades of professional experience in language and communication. As a self-employed expert in translation, interpreting, copywriting, localization, and digital document design, I have honed a meticulous eye for detail and the precise power of language. I am an authorized court and medical interpreter, a profession that continually informs my understanding of culture, context, and the delicate art of interpretation.
Based in Malmö, Sweden, I continue to use the synthesis of my artistic and professional lives to challenge, create, and communicate.
